HOW IT WORKS
This Criteria helps you to search any particular case or number of cases on the basis of their citation . Select the Journal, Year, volume number & Page number from the respective fields and click Search.
This criteria is used to search the judgment of any particular party Party search contains names of all the parties either appellant or Respondent.
This criteria retrieves the case law relating to a particular judge. A judge list has been provided to save you from typing their names in the query box.
This criteria can be used to search the judgments through two parameters i.e. single date or any range of dates.
In software you can save one or more judgments in Bookmark List so as to open those judgments directly from bookmark window. This facility helps to save time in searching your favourite judgments again and again. You can also make and ave notes on the selected judgments.
Clipboard is used to print any selected portion of text of judgment. To select the text from the text window, scroll down the cursor by mouse or use shift + down arrow key & Right click On selected paragraph then click on add to clip Board
Print window gives you various options of printing. You can take printouts of result list, head notes, full text, from clipboard, book mark list & notes from bookmarks.
Software's are updated quarterly through updated CDs and also regularly through Internet
This Criteria retrieves Case Law on the basis of Statutes and Statutory provisions. The box contains two parts as shown in the above figure. First part is meant for specifying name of the statute whereas the second part is meant for specifying the statutory provisions like relevant sections, Rules, Articles, Paras and Regulations etc. In Offline version, you can scroll through the statutes list Clicking the drop box Button. After selecting the statute from the list you can select the statutory provisions from the second part of the query box. Click Search button and you will retrieve the Judgments in the search window. Also, two acts simultaneous can be searched. In Online version you can type the statute name in the first part of the query box. The statute list automatically gets realigned to the nearest subject with every letter you type. In this case you need to type the exact name of the statute as given in statute list. Thereafter, you can select the desired Section/Rules/Article/Para/Regulation etc. In this case also, you need to type the statutory provision as given in second part the query box.
Subject wise Search is most powerful and widely used feature of our software's. It search information for any word, expression or phrase simultaneously or separately in the Full Text and Head notes. There are 4 methods for using Free Word Search. Simply Type the Word/Words in the query box and click search. Within seconds, you will get results containing the searched words/phrase highlighting the same. After typing your query you can simply select any of these 4 parameters by using mouse or shortcuts
It is very important tool to get accurate result for more than two words Searched. Click on magic search after typing two or more words in “add words” column.
